Make your own fishing pole during free “Saturday at The Sawmill”

Learn how to make your own fishing pole out of simple materials during “Saturday at The Sawmill” (32 Mill Rd., Acushnet) with the Buzzards Bay Coalition on June 17 at 11:00 a.m.

In addition to this program, the Hawes Family Learning Center will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., when you can explore the learning center and speak with Coalition educators about the park and its restoration.

This program is part of Discover Buzzards Bay, a resource to find unique and exciting ways to explore the outdoors, get some exercise and connect with nature.
