Enjoy food, festivities and outdoor fun during the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s second annual Acushnet River Herring Festival on Saturday, May 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Sawmill (32 Mill Rd., Acushnet).
The Acushnet River Herring Festival is free and open to all, and will feature food trucks, music, live bird demonstrations, canoeing, guided walks, and kids’ activities.
This event is part of Discover Buzzards Bay, a resource to find unique and exciting ways to explore the outdoors, get some exercise and connect with nature.
