Last Saturday, I was invited to attend a special Media Night on the "Train to Christmas Town" in Buzzards Bay MA with my family. The "Train to Christmas Town" is being presented by the Cape Cod Central Railroad and is a holiday event you will not want to miss.

When we arrived at the Train Station we were greeted by friendly staff and given our boarding passes, as well as coloring books and crayons for the kids. As we proceeded to the boarding area we were welcomed aboard by the Conductor who ceremoniously declared "All Aboard the Train to Christmas Town". You could feel the excitement building as the families began boarding the train!
As we climbed aboard we were escorted to our assigned seats by friendly elves and soon on our way to the "North Pole". As the train pulled out of the station we were treated to wonderful holiday music to accompany our cookies and hot coco.

As we journeyed to the North Pole we listened to the story of Janice and her journey to Christmas Town. We soon arrived at the North Pole and surprised when some of the characters from the story climbed aboard! The characters from the story greeted all the children as they danced their way down the isle! Just when we thought we had seen it all the train erupted in excitement as Santa himself came aboard and greeted each of the children and gave them all a special Christmas gift!

The night was a magical one for my girls, one that they will remember for years to come. I hope you will consider experiencing the magic with your little ones this holiday season!

If you want to attend The Train to Christmas Town with your family this holiday season it officially opens to the public on Friday, November 22nd, and will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through December 29th with extra dates closer to the holiday. The schedule can be found on the Macaroni Kid New Bedford - Fall River - Southcoast Calendar and on the Web.

Tickets can be purchased at online at www.traintochristmastown.com/massachussetts/ and are available for standard class, first class and diamond class.

Stay tuned - you never know if we may have some tickets to give away very soon!

* We were given tickets in exchange for a review of our experience - the opinions expressed are my own.
